Class K Wet Chemical Extinguishers - If you have a commercial kitchen in your facility current standards require you to have a Class K Wet Chemical Extinguisher in this area to provide coverage for this hazard. Halotron Extinguishers - If you have expensive or delicate electronic equipment in your facility that you wish to protect, Halotron Extinguishers are your solution. Halotron extinguishers are a "Clean Agent" extinguisher designed to fight a fire without causing further harm to or contamination of your valuable electronics. Halotron is a chemical agent that was designed to replace Halon in this application because Halon was found to be harmful to the environment. Halotron is dispersed from the extinguisher as a liquid but immediately evaporates leaving no residue that would harm your equipment. Server rooms, Computer rooms, Telephone Rooms, and certain Manufacturing Areas are all places where Halotron extinguishers can protect equipment that is valuable to your business. Water Mist Extinguishers - Water Mist extinguishers are designed for areas where you may need an extinguishing agent that does not react with other chemicals in the area. Water Mist Extinguishers are also a "Clean Agent" extinguisher and are a great solution for Medical and Lab facilities where the chemical agent in other extinguishers can be a major concern. If you need an extinguisher for an area where the powder and chemicals from other extinguishers may cause respiratory problems for patients, Water Mist is your solution. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Extinguishers - Carbon Dioxide Extinguishers are designed for use on Class B (Flammable Liquid) and Class C (Electrical) hazards only. Due to this fact we consider CO2 extinguishers a specialized unit that only has value in certain applications or to compliment other extinguishers in a specific area. They are available in 5, 10, 15 and 20 pound sizes and come with a wall mounting bracket. Class D Extinguishers - Class D Extinguishers are designed for use on metal fires. If your facility has an area where combustible metal fires may occur, this is your solution. There is more than one type of Class D Extinguisher depending upon what types of metals may be present in your facility. Metal Fires involving magnesium, sodium, potassium, sodium potassium alloys, uranium, and powdered aluminum require the Model 570 Class D Extinguisher. Fires involving lithium and lithium alloys require the Model 571 Class D Extinguisher. These extinguishers come with a wall mounting bracket.
